I have had my Rt7's for several years. Just wondering how long the drivers will last. I have seen some speakers rot away especially the surrounds but not on polk speakers. What about the tweeters? By looking at ebay there seems to be alot of vintage polks and they hold value very well.

If it you don't abuse them, or subject them to a harsh environment - they may very well outlast YOU.

Butyl rubber rather than foam surrounds are behind the Polk MW's longevity.

Most of the age related tweeter issues seem to be round the fluid fill in the SL3000's leaking. Not your tweeter...
