I have Monsters of Folk, but no MMJ. Please rec a MMJ LP (I understand they deviate).

TIA,

Joe

Since these are hometown boys that I have been following since about 2000 (been to at least 50 shows), I would strongly recommend starting out with It Still Moves and Z. If you find yourself gravitating more toward the former, move backward with At Dawn. If the latter... feel free to snag Circuital.

That being said... there's ALWAYS a bit of a stylistic shift from album to album. You'll just find the most obvious one being between the first two I mentioned. And if you haven't seen them live, dear Lord... put it on your bucket list.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I have "Circutical" on 45 RPM vinyl. Like ZB says, they shift styles but are very creative and enjoyable to listen.

    THANX very much!

I've caught MMJ on Letterman a couple of times, & always enjoyed them.

I see they're @ Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya Mexico this month. Sure would be nice, it's - 1.1 F here tonight.
