Hi, I have come to three choices so I need your help to make final decision on which of the following sub is good for me. I have Sony ES receiver and Polk Audio RT800i. Here are my choices:
Adire Audio Rava $399
Velodyne VLF-810 $549
HSU VTF-2 $440

I am leaning towards VTF-2. I am not big on music, mostly watching movies so I like to feel the low base while watching a good movie.

Which sub do you think is worth its money?

Thanks!

I'd have a hard time passing the Velodyne by. But I also have twin 15" JBL theatre subs that I use here so I'm spoiled.

Lets see what everyone else has to say.

I own the Velodyne VLF-810 and absolutely LOVE it. I bought it because most subs sound so freakin muddy to me.. But the Velodyne is wonderfully tight.

I couldn't recommend it more. Do you have a shop that demos them? Take it home and try it in your space... It has all the punch I need to shake the walls during movies :D

Oh, BTW, I got it from a local high-end shop for $450, so there must be a great deal of "wiggle room" on them..

Eaadams, What you mean velo... I tried www.velo.com, but that site has something else on it.

velo was ment in short for www.velodyne.com by Eaadams most likely. Velodyne is located in Cal. so you would be paying taxes on it if bought there.
Hope this answered your question! :)

Go to a good local hifi shop and they will even let you take one home to audition. Try it with all three and see what you like better... Then patronize that store by buying it there. You can get good deals from local shops--you just have to ask!
