I would like to find out what used KT-88's may be available with low hours. Anybody with an extra Quad they would like to part with ? Or anybody looking to upgrade an existing Quad, and would need money to put into the deal ?

Not to take away from George by any means, but I have a quad of Sovtek KT-88's with about 600 hours on them. They are in excellent shape and came out of one of my AMC CVT-2100 amps. Let me know if interested

My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

Thanks George, but I am still interested in what your offer would be, and will wait until you get back with some details. Headrott thanks for your response also...as this thread is about gathering information about what KT-88 tubes are available so I can make a decision. PM's can be used from members if required.Home Theatre.............

Larry, if you decide to go the EH KT-88 route from George, no problem. If you are interested in the Sovtek KT-88's just let me know. Either way, I'm good.
