Anyone have any experience or care to elaborate a bit on this piece ?

Wanting to just use it as a pre although it's an integrated.

    I have owned the Anthem Pre 1L and thought it was a very good pre for the money. No experience with this piece. I still have an Amp 1 that is staying.

    I remember at Lou's Polk Fest he was running an Anthem PRE 2L, which I assume is in this series. And as I remember, it was a HUGE hit with everyone. He had it on those Rogers bookies that sounded great for a pair of smaller bookies!

    My Anthem pre2L has performed really well for me over the years. I upgraded the caps, bought 4 NOS tubes from Brent Jessee recording 2 Mullards and 2 Mazdas and it kicks ****. I know this is common knowledge but I'll say it again anyway. The remote leaves a lot to be desired.
