Well... let's see: Your best source of info is www.alliedcatalogs.com
Knight was Allied's house brand name; some stuff was quite good - some was pretty forgettable.
EDIT: aha! It's on page 470 of http://www.alliedcatalogs.com/catalogs/1963-630/
The KN-735 looks to be a nice "mid-power" (by the standards of its time) amplifier... stereo integrated amplifier with push-pull EL84 outputs for about 14 watts per channel. It will need to be 'refreshed' for safe and reliable operation (unless it's been done already)... it should be well worth the effort.
Here's a tiny bit of info; I also borrowed the photo from this AK thread: http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/showthread.php?t=454174
The speakers could be very interesting. Allied sold drivers from several OEMs - typically Electrovoice and Utah, but also Goodmans (British). If you can post a photo or model number, I can probably tell you more. Of course the catalogs should turn up basic information on them, too :-) -
The speakers are Knight KN1200 coaxial....They were still bolted together in original box when we found them...but one has a tear in the cone...I think it might be fixed...but what do I know...I can"t figure out how to post pictures from an Iphone...
The amp was in a different box...but is still..surely...all original...with wasp nest and all.....
I do have manuals for both... and I have read that the caps need to be changed before even plugging it in..."Making life enjoyable through expensive electronics." BillD

well... it's possible that the power supply capacitors could be re-formed but the interstage coupling capacitors are very likely bad... so, yes, discretion is the better part of valor when it comes to five decade old high voltage electronic equipment! ;-)
KN1200 appears to be an OEM version of the Electrovoice SP12B twincone driver. It's not a "true" coaxial - it is an extended range (so-called "fullrange") driver; a single voicecoil with a 12" driven cone and a small, coaxial parasitic "whizzer" cone to extend treble response and dispersion. Unlike many OEM EV drivers, some of the Knights - including this one! - had somewhat different baskets than the Electrovoice versions... but I am pretty danged sure that's an EV speaker :-)

EV SP12B on page 531 of http://www.alliedcatalogs.com/catalogs/1963-630/
A tear in the cone per se is easy to fix; if the surround is damaged it's a different story, unfortunately.
Those drivers could be put to good use in a large bass reflex enclosure (see EV Bulletin 10A, at www.electrovoice.com/downloadfile.php?i=970838 for serving suggestions: ) or a folded horn enclosure such as the EV Aristocrat (http://www.electrovoice.com/downloadfile.php?i=970814) . An add-on tweeter would be a good idea, though.
