Finally, a New Home Theater Rack

I have been hauling the previous rack around with me since the late 70s. It is your typical pressed wood audio rack, and served me well over the years. However, at some point the middle coaster was lost, and now the rack sags in the middle like an old worn out horse.
After upgrading the two-channel system rack to a Mapleshade Samson V.3 rack, which sounds and looks great, I decided to buy one for the HT. This time I bought a five shelf, 60" rods, rosewood Samson V.2 rack. The HT/surround system has been upgraded so that it works quite well for both video and audio, and it needs a rack to complement it. I installed it over Thanksgiving, and tweaked the shelf spacing yesterday.
Gear from top to bottom:
Xbox 360
Bryston BDA1 DAC - Shunyata Z Cobra power cord
Bryston BDP1 file player - Shunyata Z Cobra
Oppo 93 - Shunyata Z Cobra
Onkyo SC5509 pre/pro - Shunyata Z Cobra
Sunfire TGA-5400 amp - Shunyata Z Python
Shunyata Hydra AV power conditioner - Shunyata Z Python to wall socket
Wall socket - Shunyata SR-Z1 outlet on 20 amp dedicated circuit
Interconnects between pre and amp - MIT Shotgun S1.3 XLR
Interconnect between DAC and pre - Shunyata Z Python RCA
Interconnect between DAC and file player - Bryston AES digital cable
Speakers -
PSB Synchrony One Towers, front - sitting on Mapleshade 2" maple speaker plinths with brass carpet piercing spikes
PSB Synchrony One Center
Polk LSi15 Towers, rear
Polk LSiW Sub
Speaker wire - Mapleshade Clearview Double Helix with Plus upgrade
TV - Hitachi 57" digital monitor, calibrated - Shunyata Z Cobra power cord
TV AC circuit - shared AC line with Shunyata Hydra Alpha Model 2 power conditioner

That new rack makes the system look sooooooooo much better. Probably a better sound as well. Well done.
Tom~ In search of accurate reproduction of music. Real sound is my reference and while perfection may not be attainable? If I chase it, I might just catch excellence. ~ -

Looks like you got Dr. Octopus living behind your rack."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963)

I never thought a rack could make a difference in how your rig will perform, but it can, and does..
-
Well thats the kind of rack I am chasing in gloss black but have no idea of the cost. Looking great bluefox, my eyes were drawn to the ac cables before the gear.

Nope. The original rack's philosophy is that which doesn't kill me, makes me stronger. So, while it's back is weak, it still can support this beast of a TV. They don't make particle board like they used to.Lumin X1 file player, Westminster Labs interconnect cable
