what speakers to get, 2 channel

so i have been looking for a while, and probably for a while more as i wont be setting up for a while, but i want to know, what speakers should i get for 2 channel? I have been watching the RTi towers on the ebay store for a time now and thin i may go with the 10's or 12's, but not sure. Yes i kow they tend to be brighter, but i like a little brightness(I'm currently running RTi 4's on a yammy, no complaints.). I would love a set of LSi 15's, or even 9's, but they can often be hard to source, or when they do pop up, shipping isnt an option, or it puts them out of what i can spend when i do find them. The speakers will be paired with: An HK 3490, Parasound 1200 MKII, and RBH 1010-SEP Sub. These speakers may also need to pull double duty as HT mains(yes i know, unplugging them from one to use with the other), as I dont know where i will be staying when i get to my next station, and may not have the room for 2 completely separate rigs. Also, if I do run seperate systems, i will n eed HT mains, as I think my RTi'4's, M30's, M10's, And def tech pro-monitors will all be too smal to pull mains duty, especially with 2 505's in the mix, (and maybe a psw 110 too, if im feeling crazy) But anywo, back to the 2 channel topic, what would you recommend? I have Almost solely used polks as far as real speakers go, so thats where im comfortable, but i know there are many better speakers to be had.

    I love my LSi 15's and you should be able to get those for under your budget.

    There's a pair of refurb LSiM 703's on the polk ebay store for under $1,000 right now.

    RTiA 5's might be a nice small tower for you. I would think the HK and the parasound would smooth out a little brightness that some people say the RTiA's can have.

    NHT Classic 3s are coming down and get very good reviews. I am sure they would be fine for HT as well.

    so if i went with the RTi's or RTiA's, would i want the 5's or 8's, with the sub, or would the 7's or 10's be smoother overall, i would think without the big bass drivers, the power would be better used for a clearer, more present mid and high range, if i went with 5's or 8's

    I would not buy any speakers without listening to them first. Audition as many pairs as possible before deciding. I could list some, but don't know where you live, and what access you have to speaker dealers in your area.

    You can get the LSiM 703s for under a thousand on ebay. They're very nice and I think most people would prefer them for 2-channel.

    lsi 7's, 50 dollars, thats not a typo, at fry's, but in store only, if someone wanted to pick some up for me, i would pay for the troubles, at that price, i may need two pair, lol
