Well now that I got the BAT VK30 I may as well let this one go. It has upgraded tubes and will also come with the two original stock tubes. I dont know what they are but they are said to be the ones Kevin over at upscale audio recommends and sells

    If I would have never bought the BAT this would not be going anywhere, perhaps a more desirable pic is in order.

    Which usb cable are you using on your Laptop?
    Do you run J River software?

    Yes I run j river and the usb cable is the wireworld platinum eclipse, that usb cord is great but not quite worth the retail as the pangea usb cord at 6 times less the price pretty much equals it

    I was wondering if the hi-end usb made a Big difference. Does the PS Audio dac do DSD?

    Well not yet but there is an upgrade in the pipeline as its fully upgradible. The usb cords do make diff but the can only go so far, if your choosing one then just make sure its silver core or plated and you will get 97% the performance of the outrageously priced ones.

    Good luck with the sale PFB, btw...is there a reason to even have a tv in that room ? LOL

    That upgrade for your dac...3g's....new DSD models are just under 6g's. Don't ask why adding DSD cost double of the whole dac itself.

    Nice pre for 7 bones here guys....I'd be looking at it myself if the wife wasn't sitting on my wallet.
