My sons recently moved out into their own homes, so I went about putting togehter two 5.1 system for them so they would not have to spend money they did not really have to spare. Both system have the RTi4's as fronts and ther rest is as follows:
50" Panny Plasma
Polk audo RTi4' Fronts
Polk audio S250 Center
Polk audio T15 rears
Polk audio PSW10
Pioneer VSX 522-K AVR

We came over to have christmas dinner and I brought over a movie to watch afterwards. The movie was White House Down, I seen it on my system but wanted to see it on his. The Plasma PQ was very very nice for a older model (4-5 years old, brought it off the last owner of the house for $200) even with no support for 24FPS. The VSX 522 pushed the RTi's and S 250 very well, but the stand outs were the T15's in the surround. During this film there are several scenes that have helecopters flying in from off screen and with the PSW10 adding the right amount of umph was the icing on the cake. Another scene was when they were in the tunnels and you could hear the water dripping from the pipes, it was so clear and detail it made me turn my head to see if it was water from outside the house (its been a while since I have had one of those Ah ha moments watching a movie). The total cost of this gilft to my son was under $500 (including cost of the TV)
I will do another review on the 2nd system when he done moving in,, some of the components are different.
