Surround Sound Speakers?

I need some feedback on what type of surround sound speakers I should get. I have a drop ceiling in my kitchen which creates a nice 2' back wall to my living room. I plan to put my surround sound speakers on this back wall and would like to hear what you would recommend for this.

I currently have RTiA5's for my fronts with a CSiA6 for my center and a DSW Pro 500 for my sub. I have been looking at the F/Xi A6's and the RTiA3's for my surrounds. Would you recommend one of these over the other for mounting on a rear wall that is a drop down wall with about 2 feet of height to play with and it sits about 8 feet off the ground?

Any suggestions or other ideas I am open too. Just want to make sure I get the best to complete this system. Also, this drop down rear wall sits about 4 to 5 feet behind our couch and chairs.

Thanks for the help!

The F/Xi A6's have more flexibility being either di-pole or bi-pole capable.

Will they work fine being 8' off the floor? Should I mount them flush to the rear wall or angle them down with a wall mount?

I assume side placement isn't possible? If you can't put the speakers on the sides, I'd agree the F/XiA6's are more flexible.

If side placement is not a option and there is more than 3 feet from the sweetspot I would go with direct firing mode turn 180 on its side, woofer side facing downward. If the sweetspot is under 3 feet from back wall use the A6 bi pole mode.

Side placement is not an option for me as I have no room to mount them on the side. My only real option is on the rear drop down wall which is about 4 to 5 feet behind the couch/sweet spot and will be 8 feet off the ground. Do I need to have these tilted downward or just flush mounted? This drop down wall is only 2 feet high and then it goes to our slightly vaulted ceiling.

    Thanks for all the feedback!

I'd try to tilt em down a little if possible and it might be a little easier with the Fxia3's honestly.

My original 5.1 setup had the surrounds in the rears tilted at about 25-30 degrees at the sweet spot, the were mounted appx 7' feet up. Those same speakers and postion are my rear backs now
