CS400 alternative for RT800's

I want to move my CS400 back downstairs with the 2B's and need something for the RT800's. Been looking for the 400 on CL locally but there's almost anything but. Just curious if other smaller centers compliment nicely to the RT800 while having different drivers. I understand keeping the driver's the same is best but curious if others would pair nicely.

You can also try Ebay for another CS400. One alternative is a CS245i but as a previous owner, it just doesn't measure up to the 400. It wasn't a bad speaker but once you've had the 400, it's hard to go back. There's also the CS350 which is a beast of a center but I don't see it that often anywhere. There's also the CS300. On paper, it's essentially the same as the 245i. I've never heard it but since it uses the older Tri Lam, which I find more detailed, it may work better than the 245i.

My best suggestion is to find a CS350 for your SDA's and keep the 400 with the other RT's.

I could drive to the Baltimore seller but the laminate is damaged...not a huge deal breaker but I did send an email. My cousin actually lives in Atlanta and that's a screaming deal but the phone number is incorrect, but I did email him.

Would the 350 be the better match for the 2B? Seems like even though it has smaller drivers looks like it may trump the 400 overall or am I mistaken?

Thanks WLDock for the offer, may take you up on it. I forgot all about the CS350, looks lie with a cap upgrade that the really wake up.

The CS350 for the SDA's might be the way to go? I guess it all comes down to which you can get.

I have a good bead on a CS350 and looks like a done deal. A buddy is near the seller and we have agreed on $100. Hopefully all works out.
