All-In-One Aura Note Music System

Fellow Polkers, unfortunately it's time to sell off one of my all-time favorite pieces of gear. The April Music Aura Note, more than just a receiver, it includes a top loading CD player along with am/fm tuner, USB, RCA, and iPod (analog) or memory stick input with Cirrus Logic CS4398 D/A chip. The USB input can be programmed to either standard or random play. The exterior was designed by the famous British designer Kenneth Grange.
Output is via Hitachi J162 / K1058 MOSFET single-ended push-pull transistor is 50wpc into 8 Ohms. For the head gear enthusiasts a headphone jack is also included. The Aura Note had no problems driving my Magnepan 1.6's yesterday when put to the test (though I'd never claim it to be good match!). It has spent the last five years on the credenza in my wife's office, the equivalent to the little old lady who drove her car to church and the grocery store on Sunday. Truly a pampered existence!
Originally, this unit sold for $2350, then later $2495. I'm going to let it go for just $700 + ground shipping via Fedex to USA and Canada. It comes with all of its original packing/box. Payment via Paypal.
Flaws- only one, the power button on the remote no longer works, though the rest of the buttons work just fine. A replacement can be had for $35 from April Music. The manual can be downloaded from: http://www.aprilmusic.com/eng/bbs/bbsView.php?id=11&page=2&code=bbs_product_m
So why sell? My wife wants to take my mother-in-law to New York for her upcoming 90th birthday, and due to her job hours being cut last spring to 1/3rd time, letting go of the Aura Note is realistic option.
