    When we moved, we had to give up a partial river-view, but our house now is in a heavily wooded neighborhood. Winters are definitely beautiful out here.

    We got dumped on Saturday night spent most of yesterday cleaning up glad I did not have to go to work the temps were -4 this morning. Enjoy your White Christmas, I will might do some Ice fishing tomorrow while the ladies cook and bake.

    I miss the dense woods of the midwest. For me, there's nothing more soothing than a walk in the woods.

    As steve said, I would gladly give up a river view for a heavily wooded neighborhood. The tree's keep other people from seeing you and vice versa, and I am a man that likes my privacy :smile:.

    That's what happens when we have 6 inches of snow on frozen ground then 2 days of steady rain (maybe 3 inches).

    So the Sunday weather was:
    1AM 37F & rain
    8AM 63F & rain
    2PM 56F & sun
    7PM 44F & cloudy
    11PM 40F & light rain

    Lots of flooding in the usual places.

    I haven't seen much of that since moving from Washington. Tomorrow, depending what time I can get out of work I plan on doing a 25 or 40 mile ride on my road bike ( have to burn off some Christmas calories).
    My equipment sig felt inadequate and deleted itself.
