Vintage ART Audio speakers.

Has anyone ever heard of any vintage ART Audio speakers. I saw some at a thrift shop. They looked fairly well built possibly late 80's to mid 90's era, just going by their appearance. They were kind of rough, missing the grilles and dust caps on the woofers but all else appeared ok. They were asking $20 for them and i let them pass, but my curiosity has been ongoing. I can find nothing on the web about this brand of speakers. I apologize I cannot currently provide the model but it was a three way about 32 inches tall, with (I believe) an 8 inch woofer that used a very large dust cap. The cabinets were vinyl veneered with a plastic slot port on the back (I believe at the top). The grilles would have fit between sides that protruded past the baffle to create edges from top to bottom, similar to the top and bottom plates on SDA's but these would have been on the sides and were not separate plates but parts of the cabinets.
I am expecting maybe MHardy or some of the other human vintage encyclopedias may have heard of them. It's one of those things I guess i should have tried for $20 and could always go back to see if they are still there but i had never heard of them and could find nothing on my smartphone about them at the time. And i really don't need any more speakers added to the collection currently. I picked up the DCM CX-17 sitting on top of them for $10 to go with all my other vintage DCM's.

If con is the opposite of pro, is Congress the opposite of Progress?!
