I lost both my playoff matchups last week. I am now in the third place game for both leagues.

This and March Madness pools are the only thing I put money on, and FFball is the one I put the most money in for sure.

Lets just say that last weeks losses probably cost me (in potential prize money) the halo amp that was in the forum.

And if I lose both leagues this week, it will cost me (in potential prize money) the other parasound amp in the forum!

I'm still in the running in the championship game in my money league. Cam Newton and Reggie Bush crushed me with their poor play this week, so I'll need 12 points out of the Niners D, or it's a second place finish for that league. There's an $800 difference riding on that Niners D. I'm thinking a stop by the local hat shop might be in order after work so I can show my 1 week of support for SF tonight.

I'd also like to take a moment to thank Jamaal Charles for getting me this far. Took him with the 4th pick in the first round, and he's been money all season. So thank you Mr. Charles.

I have about $500 riding on 15 points out of Vernon Davis for third place in my bigger league.

C'mon that's only about 70 yards and a td...right? Right? (he says less confidently the second time)

I'll be pulling for you tonight. And a very doable finish to the year for you. I think 70+TD for Davis is more likely than the Niners D blanking the Falcons and putting up 12+. And must be nice for a 3rd place payout. We do 200 to regular season champ, 100 to runner up and 900 to the champ.

And man........after that fumble Bush spent the rest of the game looking like someone had just kicked his new puppy. It was definitely painful to watch Joique Bell put up 20+ when those should have been Bush's touches. Ugh.

One league of ours has a $70 buy in so our payouts are pretty normal. The other league has a $350 buy in (12 team), however, and $5 per transaction (i.e. dropping player and picking up another = $10)...There's an easy $5k in the pot split between playoffs and points.

350!! Wow, you guys ain't skeered to play. I've thought about trying to implement pay for transactions, but I think the league would blow its collective top.

Stafford and Megatron killed me yesterday. Guy I played has Manning so I need huge game out of Steven Jackson and the Falcons D to give up a bunch of points. Stranger things have happened, but I'm not holding my breath.

The guy I'm playing had Megatron as well, and I got lucky that he decided to join Bush on the "Lions who aren't going to do a damn thing this weekend" bandwagon.

I don't know what Davis's story was to be honest. He was on the sidelines at odd times, and when he was out there, him and Kaep just didn't connect. Sounds like a tough night for all 3 of us. Sorry gents.

Of course, this has been the same for the last 5 or 6 years...me and my buddy Matt in 1 and 2 playing for the title...but we tend to alternate back and forth on who wins.

Now if Payton Manning could just snap a leg in practice this week...

Shady. Hehe. QB is Brees...who has been incredibly inconsistent of late.

Drew Brees and Cordarelle came through HUGE for me. And the rest of my roster did OK as well. Shady didn't give me a huge day but I can live with the day he did provide. Ended up about 35 points ahead going into the late game with Shady left for me and the Phillie D left for him. Needless to say, I won. Yay me.
