Can it work?
Alright, check this out........the question, can a single channel from an amp power two speakers?
The practice; take a 12/4 cable, make it a 12/2 at the amp end and leave it 12/4 at the speaker end as if to run a bi-wire configuration, only run one set to your mains and the other to your wide speaker.
So instead of bi-amp, it would be bi-speaker..................

In a word yes! haha! Wonder if Audyssey DSX setup for wides and using towers would run 4 front speakers in stereo and work out the imaging? We're actually discussing this in 2 threads.AVR - Onkyo NR809
