Hey folks, I am from Car Audio Forum. Unfortunately, due to my lack of 25 posts I am unable to create a thread in the WTB/FS categories. Could a mod please move this thread there?
I have been searching for a set of SR 6500s for quite some time now. If any one is selling a set or can point in the right direction as far as finding them goes, I'd very much appreciate it!
Thank you very much!

WOW - I'm guessing you've been to eBay, 1 listing:
"no cross overs, box, manual, mounting hardware, etc is included." BIN $430.25
Completed:
BNIB sold for $745
Have you used a Craigslist search tool (look in all cities/state; takes only 50 searches)?
ZERO results in Auto parts & Electronics for Cali: http://www.themccumbers.com/simple
How about a trip to your local auto wrecker? Unfortunately, most of them are aware of eBay. Removed aftermarket audio is usually sitting out in front of the counter, gathering dust. IF you call, they will Google & up the ante while you think they're checking inventory (nationwide). I use to enjoy listening to interstate junk yard chatter over the com line.
LKQ (syndicated, computerized; no Mafia-affiliation AFAIK) has locations nationwide. Not sure that they automate aftermarket sound.

I owned 2 1988 FJ62 Land Cruisers until 2008. The dingiest foreign junkyards known to man would bid to $2K for a rollover; as a master door lock switch was $365 MSRP. The losing yard told me to go across the street; where I got an 18YO for $175. I also bought passenger & back seat + floor mats & back carpet at an exorbitant $; but Hey, it was the rare blue interior . . . .
Good luck on your unobtanium quest.
