Hi, I'm new here. I have a hard time to decide between RT90 or 80F/X-RT for surrounds and back surrounds in a 7.1 home theater. I bought a pair of RTi12 for $600 on black Friday @ Frys. My receiver is a Yamaha rx-v773wabl and my center is a CS2 II. I know is not the match center channel but is hard to argue with $90 price tag. I can change that later anyway. Also I have a PSW505 sub, plan to get another one if is needed after finishing with the rest of the speakers.

So, I want to have a similar experience to IMAX in terms of sound fullness on my home theater. I know is not real in all aspects but the main idea is to have a full rich sound instead of a loud experience. I hope I have express my idea correctly.

Between my 2 choices, RT90 or 80F/X-RT. Which one will fit the bill better?

Thanks in advance.

The 12's will need more power than your AVR can deliver, consider getting an amp to drive at least the L&R's.
