Kiara (aka "sparky") rides the quad on our land. She's 11, and did well after some training out front. First time ever riding a quad for her. Our quads do not have power steering, so she struggled a little bit.

She sure would like to have a quad, we rode for hours. Little **** started getting over confident on the 2nd ride, and had a "seat fabric up my butt" moment that got her back in check. After a bit of a scolding (though the "oh crap" look on her face probably spoke volumes), I reminded her that these quads are capable of 55+ mph speeds; and to take it easy.

With hindsight, I should have put a helmet on her, but I didn't think I could get her "fro" tucked in there...LOL. There IS a method to my madness, it's my belief that too much "safety gear" can make kids take unnecessary risks (thinking they are well protected), not to mention that wrapping a matress around a kid kind of kills the fun aspect.

You're never "well protected" on a 690lb quad.

Please have her be very careful! My neighbors 12 year old daughter was riding their quad and it rolled over on her and she didn't make it. Very sad time in the area. Watch her speed and safety gear!

I was just going to say that! Go pro and helmet man! I won't get on any vehicle that requires a helmet without one!

It's a camera designed to be attached to ATV's, helmets, motorcycles, etc... HD quality and strong, I think it would make a great stocking stuffer for yourself! My nephews mount them to their bikes and helmets when doing motocycle races, pretty cool little camera.

    Nice work!
My crazy neighbors 2 yr old drives a riding lawnmower. Wont take long before he is on the quad.

I actually thought this thread was gonna be about a Quad reciever or Quad speakers.
I got static in my head
