Surprised I still have this. NEED THIS GONE. My loss, your gain! One more shot, $325 or $400 with the Mullards. I highly recommend the second option.

Mullard's are sold. So, we have the Dared, RICA tubes and the Tungsram. This is basically a $200 savings fro buying new.

Guys,, if you are looking to get into tubes for not much money, then this pre with a ss amp will get you there-- it responds very well to tube rolling and can be tweaked(modified) which in turn bumps up the performance.

George, it's probably going to be a week or 10 days and I have a solid buyer for a package deal. I don't think you putting yours up will hurt my sale unless you are going to **** it out .

Guys, I was the inheritor of this fine unit from Daboyz and will be damned excited when I get my hot hands on it, I'm pretty excited to see it ship ;) George, what mods did you do on yours? Funny we were just discussing the neverending purchases of preamps, dacs, etc. and here I am having purchased this Dared only a few days ago ;)

The folks over at AK were recommending that E80CC tubes sounded amazing in these units, specifically Tungsrams, any thoughts?

Nice, this is one piece of gear Jeff and I keep wondering how it sounds as a pre compared to its more expensive brother w/ phono....

Daboyz, pre received, just now listening and heating up the tubes. You are truly a class act, the packing was bomb proof, everything was in great shape, it's a pleasure purchasing from you and getting a little education via PM in the process!

No way! I had no idea. This thing sounds simply amazing, I am completely enamored with it, didn't know it had already had the caps upgraded that's just absolutely great, did you notice any sound difference after the caps were replaced? How did I stumble into something so nice? George, did you try any e80cc's in this thing while you had it? Indyhawg picked up some raytheons for his and has some psvayne's on order, I ordered some Tungsram e80cc's and we're going to collaborate and swap some tubes/experiment.
