Man, it's not even the Holidays yet and I'm eatin' like a pig.

Friday went out to dinner with my sister in-law, Veal saltimbocca, grilled Octopus. Saturday went to lunch for a Birthday party at my favorite latin place, 6 different tacos, 3 different guacamoles, torta's. Then came home and made dinner for my niece and nephew. Veal scaloppini, pasta carbonera, which has prosciutto in it...salad, Italian sausage stuffed mushrooms, fresh baked bread, warm Carrot cake with butter cream frosting. Of course some nice wines too, can't have veal without wine. Still have today to get threw yet.

So this is why they put all those holes in belts. LOL

Just buy a couple of Snuggies for the holidays and you are set. No need for jeans, socks, underwear, or real clothes that may get too tight.

The best way I can describe it is.....think spandex for men in a jean material....tight all around and even tighter at the ankles.

We just harvested the basil we've been growing, and are getting ready to make a bunch of pesto. I see some kind of pesto pasta or maybe pesto pizza happening this week.

I have a Christmas dinner party Tues, and a big retirement lunch Thursday, so I think I'm just going to have to admit to myself that any big plans not to overeat are gone this year. On top of all of that, I have a sore ankle right now, so there just isn't much working out going on either.

    Oh well.

Basil is one of the easiest and most easily used herb to grow, anybody who thinks they cant grow anything, but would love fresh herbs, try basil, sage and rosemary.

Man, to be able to go out and pick a couple leaves off your own organic plant and make your food so gooood.

Full sun and good drainage, and your good.

Our sage is still on the bush, but to be able to harvest basil this late, niiiiice.
