Short MIT "tails". What do you support the Magic Boxes with?

the Very Good SRS 2s have binding posts that are mounted a little high. I wondering what you Guys n' Dolls use to elevate the MIT Magical Boxes? The tension on the cables is what concerning . . . as the cable tails are so short, the "boxes" hang and I'd prefer the interface boxes lay flat on the floor

Let'em hang, won't harm a thing. Seriously, I had MIT Shotguns hanging off my office rig speakers for years, never a problem. If it really bothers you, velcro the boxes to the back of the speakers.

I have seen these boxes. The velcro idea I think is the best because you can easily undo them if you have to move your set. Much better than heavy duty double face tape pads which would work but be more permanent. To relieve the pull and stress of gravity you could use plastic p-clamps or the kind of tyraps that have a mounting hole and just a short screw would do it also.

Another suggestion....IF you order the cables new from MIT they can make them with extra long tails.

Or if your looking for cheap, stack a couple small blocks of wood.....upside down cups.....if money is no object then pay Kate Upton to stand there and hold them. Betcha those cables will never sound so good plus you get the benefit of some really nice looking acoustical....um...panels.

Use a stick-on pull-tie standoff (black) on the back of the speaker, to help support the box.

Steve, I like your idea better than my velcro one.
