Been thinking lately about power to my equipment. Moving and building is the original idea but of course that's been slower than planned (surprise surprise). Tossing around the idea of running a 20amp line to my equipment to run my sub, AVR, and amp. What are the materials needed and cost? Also, I realize someone is gonna have to do the work in the box but perhaps I can run the wire and let him install the wall box?? Just trying to save cost. What are y'alls thoughts?
AVR - Onkyo NR809

Amp - Parasound 2250 - FOR SALE BTW!! PM me if interested!
Mains - Polk RTi12 towers
Center - CSi5
Surround - FXiA6's

TV - Toshiba 52" HD

simple explanation...Some 10/2 with ground, a box, outlet and some time ...provided you have space to put the new breaker in the box. It is a simple matter to do but as with anything I have no idea of your capabilities.

You can do it with 12/2 w ground but I'd go up to 10ga..

I should be able to do most of that. What kind of cost do you think? Also, I'm just thinking about one new line for those three things. Is that ok or too much for the 20amp line?
