I saw an ad the other day for a show headlining Dave Mason and a band called Dead On Live. This intrests me both ways, I've seen Dave Mason both w/ Traffic and solo and always puts on a great show. A real consumate performer. Now this other band I never heard of is a Grateful Dead cover band said to do note for note recreations of Dead albums I'm guessing like the Fab Faux doing all Beatles stuff cover to cover. Yes I was always into the Dead and if not for Hot Tuna clearly would be the front runner for the most times seen still holding at 28 and that's not going to change. The venue I've never been to The Paramount Theater in Asbury Park N.J. is only 1/2hr. away and if it's anything like The State Theater,Beacon,or Count Basie Theater sound should be good.Oh it's Jan. 17th if interested.

"In 2014, Dave and the band launch a new show called "Traffic Jam". The “Traffic Jam” concerts will feature hits and deep album cuts from 1967’s Mr. Fantasy and 1968’s Traffic albums and additional Traffic jams plus new material and classic Dave Mason music."
Should be a good show! Nowhere near here:
