AUDCOM AP-110 PREAMPLIFIER w/ EXTRA TUBES - 9/10 - Gold - $350/shipped

I bought this awhile ago and simply barely used it really. I picked it up based on some history from another owner and it's laid back….think Conrad Johnson without the price tag. It responds well to rolling and I'm giving you that out of the box. It has been modified with Sonicaps on the output stage which does wonders since stock sounds pretty generic.

If you want to get your feet wet with tubes, this is your chance.

REMOTE!! I can'y stress this enough as getting up to change volume just sucks I've heard awesome gear and passed based on remote alone.... F that man….complain about sonic degradation because of volume pots to someone who gives a ****e.

She works fine but I have a bunch of gear so it's just taking up space. I'll throw in a pair of 12AX7

The unit includes the OEM manual, power cord, tubes and some goodies. The unit will be packed to withstand a nuclear blast.

    I'll even throw in some Bright Star Audio, ISONODES for underneath the unit. They are small jelly like feet that isolate the unit from outside vibrations. I love BSA products and use them exclusively. These nodes were just in my hand when I posted this gear….and I don't feel like packing it again.

    If that's the Audcom pre that Russman had, and Gary Dodd modified, and that passed through my system some years ago, it uses WE396 tubes. Great sounding pre! It restarted my tube journey after many years of staring at my CJ PV10 sitting on a shelf after a melt down.

    Yeah it might be Doug but my memory sucks. I only know it sounds solid and is a super tube pre-amp for the folks that are on the fence.

    If Gary did the mods, then all the better since he's done or did a bunch of work for me over the years. That dude is TIGHT.

    You really won't find a more solid tubed pre at that price. Buy the authentic tested WE396a tubes to use in it, and sit back in your big boy chair with your assless chaps on and rock out!

    12AU, AX or ECC series work fine and I have a bunch of those. The stockers are 12AU7 from the pin out.

    Then that's a different one from the unit I had. Even better as there is more variety in the 12au7 tubes!
