So, I just came across this Sony SCD-CE595 SACD changer for the wonderful price of $0. Good find?
I've never listened to an SACD before. My primary system is 2ch, do I need surround/rear channels for the full SACD experience?
Can anyone recommend any good "starter" SACDs I should check out? Any genre...

No surround needed. I own one of these units. It is is a great SACD player even for the asking price when it was new.If you like Elton John, start out with his SACD releases, all are very well recorded. If you can't hear a difference, don't waste your money.

Easy to get at a good price? I would start with Pink Floyd "DSOTM" and Norah Jones "Come Away With Me"

I own it too. Nice sounding unit. Spyro Gyra "Good to Go Go" is a great sounding SACD hybrid if you like jazz

+1. I wasn't what you'd call an Elton fan, but I picked up several of his SACD's on the cheap and found out I like a lot of his lesser known stuff.
Oh, I think you'll be happy with the Sony for the price:)Things work out best for those who make the best of the way things work out.-John Wooden -

Thanks for the replies, I appreciate it.
I was at the San Francisco Symphony on Saturday so I picked up a few SACDs:
