I saw a C/L add a few days ago for vintage Monitor 4s.He also said he had other sets of lesser known makers. The guy wanted $40 firm. Is that a good price for those if in good shape all the way around? I do not need another set but if something comes up I would like to have some kind of guide to go by in getting more vintage Polks.4s,5s and 10s seem to be talked up a lot on the vintage side here so if you could muster a list that would be cool.I have SDA 2bs already and any other of them are way to big , towers not interested and even the vaunted CRS+ seem to be always on the horizontal w/ needing stands so they would not work here either.

    $40 seems like a good price if they're in good shape. Of course sellers usually have a lower bottom line price that they're willing to accept if you show up with cash in hand.

    I saw that ad. If it was closer I might have checked it out. Looks like a good deal but the pic is not very good. I would consider 4s, 5s, 7s & 10s. I have 5s and 7s both with peerless tweets and would highly recommend them.
