Left speaker on left, right speaker on right. Interconnect cable between them. COMMON GROUND AMPLIFIER/RECEIVER.

At least 3' from side walls, generally about a foot or less from rear wall. Listening position about the same distance from speakers as they are far apart.

I would go back into the closet and drag out the Parasound 3500 that is gathering dust in there and hook that up while you are at it.
I would suggest more but I am cleaning out all my closets hoping for a pleasant surprise. Not holding my breath tho.

You just found them in a closet in your basement? Did you buy the house from a guy named Polk?

    What?

Best find ever. Hopefully you have the interconnect cable, otherwise I believe you can make one. Definitely use the cable and you will hear the 3d magic!

^^^^^^ this, and no Toe In. Speakers should be facing the listening position about 6-8 feet apart.
