Projector Help

I am looking at getting a home theater projector and have my eye on the Epson 5030ube. The idea of wireless HD intrigues me from a convenience stand point. The projector gets high reviews and is within my budget. My question relates to the sound quality from a wireless setup. Would the sound quality be degraded from a wireless set up versus a wired installation? I have Polk RTI A9, Csi A6, (4) FXi A6 surrounds. The fronts, center and side surrounds are driven by an Emotive XPA 5 and the backs are driven through my Denon AVR 3313 ci receiver.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If you stream hdmi then the sound may have a little jitter but essentially its losless audio so the sound should not be degraded

I can't help you with your question but a +1 for Epson projectors. I have the Epson 6500 and project a 120" screen

I think it would depend on what form of wireless, and if there would be any audio lag sense the signal would have to travel through the air.

Have you considered the JVC line-up? Their D-ILA projectors offer superior native contrast ratios without using any "dynamic" iris features. Dynamic irises boost the brightness in lit scenes and darken in darker scenes which to me, alters the overall film presentation. Some dynamic irises can be seen while in operation, so you might want to watch out for that. If you watch any outer space films or films with a lot of dark scenes, the image will not be correct. e.g., the starfield will be a lot darker than it should be. I have a first generation JVC RS-1 with a 15,000:1 contrast ratio and it still is in operation after several years. It has been very reliable and quiet. Oh yeah, the lamps are relatively cheap, $400 retail and lasts 2000 hours. You might check on that as well. Some lamps are $1000 and are good for only 1000 hours.

Wow, Panny AE8000 for $1,750 is an insanely good price. Can't beat that with 2.35 format, lens shift and memory. Is it still available anywhere at that price?

Naw dude it was a Cyber Monday deal - was $200 off and $550 rebate which put it at 1750. If I didn't already have two projectors I would totally buy it.Main Surround -
