I was going to use my McIntosh MC2100 with my "new" SDA-1C's, but just got an email back from McIntosh stating that their amps with the autoformer transformers won't support common ground.

I do have an nice sounding NAD 2200 power amp that I actually posted here for sale yesterday. I was going to sell it to help compensate for the cost of the SDA's (gotta soften the blow to the wife......"Honest honey, Iv'e had those for years, don't you remember when I bought those?" Isn't gonna work with these, lol! They're just too big...) It looks like I'll have to keep it to run the SDA's. Has anyone used any NAD amps with SDA's? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I have ran SDA's with NAD amps, 3020 int amp, 2200, 2100X, 2400THX, 2600A and the 2700THX, all with good results.

Keep the 2200 and save some bucks.
