Replacing Polk drivers in RTA 12C and early M 10

Looking for thoughts on two things. I know this has been touched on before but I want to be more specific My original early Monior 10s have 6500s w peerless . Would replacing them with 6503s be an upgrade? The 6503 was used in the late 10B (1986-89) aand the xover looks to be the same except for the Poly switch
Late RTA 12Cs that came with 6501s. Can one use 6503s?? Is that an upgrade? I one point before Polk started remaking drivers I that that was recommended. Specs look close. Would be nice to know the specs on the 6600 but nobody seems to have them

Polk stopped supporting all drivers awhile ago so you have little choice. Upgrade? No, just a replacement and new.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

geppy1, where are you located? I think I have a working MW6500 from 1983 that is out of a Monitor 5A.
