Hi, I am currently looking for an amplifier to power my MM1540DVC 15" sub. Everything else in my 05 Impala is stock at the moment, although i will be looking to upgrade eventually. I have absolutely no experience in car electronics and was hoping someone could help me find the right amplifier. Thanks alot!

Quick update i just bought a pair of the db651 speakers as well.
for the 6x9 i am wondering about peoples opinions on the db691 or the MM691 everyone's input is wellcomed. As i have been reading other threads i have seen people talking about 1 or 2 amps, so should i use 1 or 2 amps. Thanks alot! -
If you are talking about having 2 sets of speakers, 1 set of components in front, and a pair of 6x9s in back, you can use 1 amp. The PAD4000.4 is a great amp for this type of setup.

As for amps I would suggest separate amps for the fronts and mono amp for rear sub. And stick with name brand amp as they are more realistic about their power ratings than many off brands.Family Room HT 7.2/i]:Vizio Oled55h1 Pioneer Elite SC-LX502 Pioneer Elite BDP 85FD Eversolo DMP A6 Panamax M5300-EXSpeakers Fronts Fluance XF8L Center Polk Audio S35 Side Surrounds Fluance bipolar Rear Surrounds FluanceXF8 Bookshelf Subs SVS PB4000 x2 Living room 2ch: Crown Xli 1500 amp x2, Teac EQ MKII FX Audio X6 Mk II DAC Squeezebox Touch Fluance Signature Tower Speakers Panamax M5100-EXOffice media room:Vizio M50Q6 50" Pioneer Elite VSX LX301 Eversolo DMP-A6 Polkaudio R600 Towers Polkaudio Center R300 Panamax M4300 Monoprice 12" subMaster bedroom:Vizio M55Q7 Pioneer Elite VSX LX302 Pioneer Elite BDP 85FD Squeezebox Touch Fluance Signature Bookshelf fronts, Rears Fluance Signature Bipolar Polk Audio CS10 center Monoprice 12" sub Panamax M5300-EX
