Very Positive Report
Now that I'm running rear surrounds, I've been scrambling for speaker wire. After making my own custom lengths and then relocating, the alterations I've made to make ends meet look kind of Frankenstein-ish
So I've been planning for the last month to at least get my rears done correctly (without splices) and so the "budget" search has been on and with RTiA9's for rears and an amp sending 200wpc to them, I was hoping to get something that was at least half decent.
What I found was something so much more
After following up on a recommendation from our pal Endershadow, I contacted another fellow member (helocopterdoug) with douglasconnection.
It was more than just professionalism, the experience was approachable and hassle free.
When the transaction was complete, there was more to it than knowing I'd be a repeat customer, I wanted to bar-b-que with the guy
That to me, is a deal done right!!! Thanks again Doug!! I'm looking forward to future business!
Oh, and thanks to you Dan for the recommendation!

Glad it worked out. Just shows you that you can get decent cables for not outrageous prices. That and helping out a small business run by a top notch guy. Nothing better.

Nice indeed! My order shows up two days after it shipped without having to pay high expedited fees! The product looks great!
And, there was a little something extra to sweeten the deal. Thanks again Doug!

So your making your center and surrounds it looks like correct?"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963)

Center and rears. The surrounds and mains are good for now. Eventually I'll want to redo the surrounds too.Source: BRP Panasonic UB9000, CDP Emotiva ERC3 - Display: LG OLED EVO 83 C3 - Pre/Pro: Marantz 8802A - Amplification: Emotiva XPA-DR3, XPA-2 x 2, XPA-6, Speakers, Mains/2ch-Focal Kanta No2's, C-LSiM706, S-702F/X, RS-RTiA9's, WS-RTiA9's, FH-RTiA3's, Subs - Epik Empire x 2

In an effort to 1 up you, I just ordered a roll of 0 guage wire from my local car audio folks..... I will be making each connection at each LSi out of a single wire. So 4 cables for each speaker....

Dan, I knew you were waiting for that Beats takeover of MOG and it's flood of bad rap music with overbloated bass... ;-)"Some people find it easier to be conceited rather than correct."

Glad to hear of another excellent experience with Doug. I have bought a few pairs of IC's from him and I have been ECSTATIC with the results. And I agree, when you deal with Doug you end up feeling like a friend instead of just a customer.
