5.1 Speakers that fit in a suitcase (Flying out of the country)
Hello all!
So, I happened to be in the US during Black Friday and grabbed the following items:
1 x Yamaha RX-V673 7.2-Channel Network AV Receiver
1 x Polk Audio CS2 Series II Center Channel Speaker
2 x Polk Audio Monitor40 Series II Two-Way Bookshelf
I have always wanted to have a 5.1 setup at home and just jumped at the chance of finally putting one together.
Honestly, I did very little research before pulling the trigger. I saw the 40s suggested as the rear speakers and the cs2 as center... but I am left wondering what should I buy as front speakers to complement these.
I would love to take with me something floor standing but obviously they will not fit on a suitcase...
So, please can you help me with suggestions as to what front speakers to get being mindful of size/weight?
The room these will be in is relatively small, wooden floors about 10'x10'- I am most interested in HT quality w the occasional music usage.
Side question.. I got the Yamaha hoping it was the one with the universal power 110/220v but it wasn't. Will I encounter any issues using these with a transformer/adapter in South America as far as sound quality goes or equipment deterioration?
Thanks!

Welcome to Club Polk!
Nice little setup you got there, great deal for the money! I would actually suggest getting monitor 30s for the surrounds and using the 40s for the mains. The only other bookshelf option is to just go with 40s all around, which would be even better.
