Out now on blu-ray (and DVD), Joe Bonamassa does 4 shows, over 4 nights, in 4 different venues with 4 different bands and 4 different set lists, all in London. I've picked up Shepherd's Bush Empire so far, just awesome...collect 'em all! (that is my intention). Here are the concert lists (venue/concert):

The Borderline - Power Trio Jam

Shepherd's Bush Empire - Blues Night

Hammersmith Apollo - Rock & Roll Night

Royal Albert Hall - Acoustic/Electric Night

Great, now more $ to spend on the holiday season! Ever since my wife an i saw Joe at the Blues, Brews and Q's up at Dillon Colorado for a free show no less, we have been fans. Lots of shows, cd's , dvd's and autograph's later it looks like i now have to spend more as we aren't quite rich enough to fly to his shows across the pond :)

Our local PBS station gave away a autographed "Joe Bonamassa guitar" when they ran his Vienna concert this year. The drawing entry came with membership, as did a CD/DVD, depending on donation amount. They did the same for an autographed "Tommy Emmanuel acoustic guitar." Beats the heck out of the plastic Red Green coffee cup I got. Now, I use the RG ceramic cup for tea every morning.

Here's hoping PBS ups the ante to blu-ray!

"On July 3, 2012, Joe Bonamassa brought a very special and exclusive acoustic presentation to the Vienna Opera House, a sublime cultural iconic venue steeped in history and heritage, and the perfect backdrop for such a dramatic and original music presentation."

Seems a little pricey, is there some bling that comes with it? Picked up the second one (rock and roll night) a couple days ago. They're going for $22.99 each for the blu-rays locally.

Yeah, it is pricey. I use the Amazon wishlist as a bookmark and then check prices with shipping costs at other sites before buying.

For the box set you get a 48 page booklet and the container is a replica of a Marshall amp. At Joe's website he throws in a t-shirt.

If your really into him and want to see him live. In May he's playing the Count Basies Theater ,Red Bank N.J. A word of warning he sells out fast and I have not checked the progress of the ticket sales. I did get tickets for the Dave Mason show at the Paramount Theater Asbury Park next month. This I think I told before. The opening act is a band called Dead On Live and are doing note for note recreations of Dead albums.Dave Mason alone w/ a band is a great show and I never saw him give less than 100%.
