Hello all, I'm new to the forum and thought I'd say hello and pick your brains at the same time, lol.

I just closed a deal with Dpasl, another helpful member of this forum, on his beautiful SDA-1C studio's, and just wanted to check if anyone has run any sda's with vintage McIntosh gear, especially the MC2100 or 2105? These were rated at 100wpc, but they always seemed a bit underated. Will these have enough power and headroom to do these justice? I mainly listen to acoustic music with an occasional run of classic rock as well as classical and jazz. Any comments or comparisons on these speakers and/or amplifier would be greatly appreciated! Thanks again.

The only real experience that I have with Mac was years ago. A friend had a Mac tube amp, can't remember what model, but it was sweet. I don't think you can go wrong with Mac and Polk.
