This might be old news to many but I sort of suspected, but it's been confirmed.

Recently it's been confirmed SED =C= tubes are no longer being manufactured and there is no future plan to ever make them again. So get them now as they are considered New Old Stock and prices have gone up and they will continue to rise.

One caveat; there is a plethora of 2nds released on the market so beware and it's probably best to buy from a known source in order to get satisfactory results.

Again, this may or may not be new news, but I just became aware of it.

"Appreciation of audio is a completely subjective human experience. Measurements can provide a measure of insight, but are no substitute for human judgment. Why are we looking to reduce a subjective experience to objective criteria anyway? The subtleties of music and audio reproduction are for those who appreciate it. Differentiation by numbers is for those who do not".--Nelson Pass Pass Labs XA25 | EE Avant Pre | EE Mini Max Supreme DAC | MIT Shotgun S1 | Pangea AC14SE MKII | Legend L600 | BlueSound Node 3 - Tubes add soul!
