Macys Day Parade

Have any of you guys/gals been to the Macys Day Parade? If so any advice is more than welcome.
The two of us are heading to the Big Apple around 4:30am tomorrow morning. Its about 2 1/2 hours from Charlestown RI so should be ok traffic wise but you never know.
No matter what the weather is going to be it will still be better than dealing with some people here LMAO for Thanksgiving dinner and all!!!!!! I am planning on taking Anne Marie to a NYC deli for lunch. Everyone should have a true NYC deli sandwich once in life.

You know, I lived in NYC on and off for almost 13 years and I never once saw the parade live. I was only a couple of subway stops from the location. How sad is that? lol
No advice. Keep safe and enjoy the parade, lunch and get some dessert at Serendipity (#) later?
