From my own personal collection.......

The Carver m400a, better known as 'The Cube'
201 wpc (8ohms) in stereo, bridgeable to 500wpc mono.

Very nice sounding and deceptively powerful amp.

This one is black and not a scratch on it.

I'm going to ask 290, shipped, lower 48.

If you are interested post here, shoot me an PM or an email at:

Awesome amp here fellas. Little in size, not in power.

This is identical to the amp I brought to the Texas Gathering in Austin - and drove Phuz's LSi15's with ease to VERY loud levels, without hardly even lighting up the LED meters...

They have been going as high as $350 as of late, and that's without shipping, and without the confidence that comes with buying from Troy.

    Someone should jump on this.

    Cheers,
    Russ

    Troy,

I want something to drive some SDA 2B's. I think this would fit my needs.

Can you hold out for a week?

    Troy,
I'm just interested what pre\pro some of you members are using with the m400. If the amp is still available in a few weeks I may be interested.

    Sorry guys,

I was unexpectedly out of pocket for a couple days.......

Anthony put up the first post so he has first dibs. Yes, I can wait a week, no problem.

I've used an Adcom SLC-505 passive preamp, Carver C1 and most recently my Denon receiver as a preamp for the m400a.

    Anthony,

Got your PM, your profile is set to not accept PM's cochese.

I live in Charleston SC, the price includes shipping so send me a check and I'll send you one minty Carver m400a.

The only thing that I can think of that you may not know is that the m400a has spring clip connectors on the back. If you have bananna plugs, you will need bare wire or pins.

Same deal as always, if you aren't 100 percent thrilled, you send it back to me and I'll refund your cash.......

    my addy is:

    Troy,

I got it today. OUTSTANDING. got it hooked up temp like with some romper romm IC's. VERY COOL. Nice match to the SDA2b's.

Now I gotta go get some decent wire to do it justice. and some pins, the clips are kinda filled w/ 12 Ga.

You sent it Monday right? I gotta hand it to UPS, two days.

Folks, lemme tell ya: If the man says It's minty, you'd best beleive it. It looks damn near new. Excellent transaction, excellent packaging, communication, ect. etc. etc.

Gotta run now. Daddy's got a new toy to play wit...:D

    Thanks Brutha,

    Anthony
