Can you convert LSI15 between left and right?

Has anyone ever tried converting an LSI15 left speaker to a right speaker.
Seems like it might be possible.

Dont think so since the tweeter position is different between the two so you would need to re-drill the new position and fill in the old one.

I would almost just call Polk and see if they have a cabinet they can sell you

I have never seen a cut away but the framing inside coming up to the dual ports would inhibit the relocation of the tweeter

Maybe some more info as to WHY someone would want to do that ? That would only be possible on mirrored pairs of speakers, not dedicated left and right.

Am I missing something here? There are big holes in the side that are on different sides for left and right. What do you do about those?

Your not missing anything, and your right. The Op asked...we answered. A mirrored pair of speakers, meaning identical to each other, is no problem switching left to right or visa-versa. Dedicated left and right speakers are built from the ground up that way, cabinets, placement of drivers. To try and change that would mean building a new speaker. Some have switched dedicated speakers so that side firing woofer throws to the inside rather than the out, which seems to work ok for some.

Thanks for the help. LSI15 left speakers are selling really cheap on ebay, but haven't seen right speakers.
I haven't seen how the LSI15 is put together and had wondered if woofer portion could be turned 180 degrees so woofer would fire in.
I can imagine how it would likely be impossible.

It would not be worth your time or money; it would be cheaper to buy a stereo pair.
