...massive collapse by my Denver Broncos?
It's tough to watch, but Denver really never should have been up by 24 points to begin with. Anyone can easily see how uncomfortable Peyton clearly is in this cold weather, given the use of the running game and just his body language in general. My bigger question is, how does someone hate the cold THAT much and then take a job in an outdoor sport in Denver???
Hopefully Patriots fans didn't start leaving early like they did when the Pats came back to beat the Saints, because those guys are puttying on a show in the second half.

That offensive PI call on Denver was odd since they basically haven't been calling that all game...

Well Brady got the better of Manning once again, can't say I'm surprised by the outcome though I couldn't have predicted the way it all unfolded.

Even though this game obviously wasn't nearly as critical, I must say that the loss last night was right up there with the playoff loss last year to Baltimore in terms of how it felt as a fan. I don't know what it is with Peyton, seems like he's almost always on the losing side of these big games. He didn't play horribly, and like last year the play that cost them the game wasn't his fault. Ultimately though he's the leader of the team and they had their chances to win.
It was an entertaining game, unless you're a Bronco fan, I love the call by the Pats to give the Broncos the ball in OT by the way... -
As the WBZ radio sports guy said this morningGillette Stadium is not 'Peyton's Place'
(most of you are probably too danged young to appreciate that terrible pun)
PS, the "real" Peyton Place is (was) Gilmanton, NH ;-)

I turned the game off at half-time figuring that Denver would cruise to a win. Then tuned in again toward the end of the 4th and was pretty much shocked! I thought the Pats would "fold" for sure.
Now, if only they could play an "entire" game like that. Too much to ask for, I'm afraid. We'll get dumped in the first round, play-off time.

After a couple days to reflect on the game (and to let my BP drop back to normal), in reality this ways a game where each team had a dominant 20 min. and the rest was a slugfest, with a fluke play to end it. Three things stand out, Brady's will to win is the strongest in the league since Elway. Two, Knowshon Moreno was an absolute beast Sunday night. Third, like Tiger Woods I'm convinced Bellichik sold his soul to the devil!Review Site_ (((AudioPursuit)))

Generally speaking, in football it's whoever gets hot at the right time. A lot of teams are still in the running so don't count them out. I'd rather Denver get cold now and then hot again at playoff time than burn it up all season to only fizzle out at the end.HT SYSTEM-
