    Jon,

There's one on eBay, but the seller says they will only ship inside the US. If you win the auction, here is what we can do. Pay for the tweeter then have it shipped to me, I will then ship it to you. You pay for shipping, of course.

The other choice would be to buy the new SL2000 replacement tweeters from Polk directly, but you will need two as they are a little different from the SL2000. Some forum members have reported that they like the new tweeter better than the SL2000, saying it's smoother.

I have an SL2000 tweeter for sale.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

I have read loads of reviews that say that whilst the new replacement tweeter has more crisp tops, its fatiguing to listen to and the SL-2000 sounds "sweeter".

I must admit, I have always loved the sound of the vintage polk stuff.....

I will sell you two SL2000 silver coil domes in great condition. The cost would be $50 each plus you pay the shipping to the UK. I prefer the sound of the replacement SL2000T tweeter (I have them installed in a set of CRS+). I'd just take the money that you send me for the silver-coil domes and re-invest it into some new SL2000T tweeters from polk. The tweeters that I would send to you come out of a Polk Monitor 7C. I assure you - they are in perfect condition. You can e-mail me at: ronskarvan@aol.com

If you don't want this deal. No sweat. I wouldn't replace the Silver SL2000's if I had to shell out any cash from my pocket.
They sound fine -- just not as fine as the SL2000T's (in my opinion).

Jaycee - Thanks for your reply, just read it. I would jump on the deal above, as it is what you actually wanted originally, two of them, and I only have one. Rskarvan is an active member here in the forum.
