Moose meat, bear meat, deer meat it's all good. Marinate them steaks in mccormicks peppercorn marinade and toss them on the grill. Like Uncle Ted says kill em and grill em.

I like Moose better than venison the few times I have tried it. Maybe because it was Alaskan Moose. Never tried Elk.

Moose is a great lean meat the flavor can be affected by what it eats so depending on what part of the country your from it can certainly taste a bit difference .

But I love me moose like to add ground moose to ground pork or lamb makes for a great burger or in tomato sauces for pasta,

Great in stews as for roasts it is a very lean meat so you have to cook it slow, I like to go with the pot roast and add lots of veggies and spices and a little olive oil to help keep it moist.

And for the records I will eat anything been around the world a few times and sometimes you just gotta eat what's put in front of you.
So I've eaten few strange things like birds, lizards, furry things, fish and other things that swin. Whale blubber that fermented in a box bury in the ground and the family eat it with crackers, I have to say I chased it with a good mouthful of beer cuz it didn't taste that great.... And some others that I won't elaborate on don't want to offend some pet owners.

    Cheers

One of the fun things you can do at -40 besides chilling beer is that if you say throw a glass of water in the air or even a cup coffee so it spreads out lots and it freezes before it hits the ground...

    Yep sure is fun -40.

I like sticking to the white meat like Bald Eagle or Whooping Crane. If I'm going to eat red meat, I'm thinking Manatee burgers with a little Sweet Baby Ray's. I prefer the Bald Eagle with a little chili/lime rub.

    PETA sucks!

My all time favorite is Axis deer, lean red meat no game flavor, for birds quail or chucker....they beat cow and chicken
