So yesterday I sent my LSIM 703's off on a top secret mission to North Carolina, and today decided to put my Lsi 7's in their place in my 2 channel rig. I had them in my office rig doing background while you work music and they always sound nice...They do lack a little in the sub 60 hz area, but that is to be expected.

So I plug them in, and I really thought i might be mildly under impressed, but after calibrating the dsw mp1k sub to compensate below 80 hz, this little system kicks... Maybe not freakin Sonus Faber Guarneri's but the 7's really are very clean and can handle anything I throw at them especially when I am not asking much from them below 80 hz. The 7's with my tubes sound very accurate and have an amazing soundstage for a compact speaker and can easily handle the room.

This config has the best sounding cymbals I have yet to experience... They ring and crash very accurately with too much getting in the way.

    The LSi9 Mod is sweet but I have a feeling the LSiM modified is going to be in another league... :)

    My ears are already happy with my 703's and my wallet can't handle your devious goods.

    I have talked to a couple of people but it is still a very new series...

    The new series lags in some areas from the original LSi but is better than others based off of my LSiM705 I have here.

    I have heard my Fortress mod LSi9 against the stock LSiM705 and that is an extremely close race with maybe the LSiM having slightly cleaner mids... mods really transform the LSi9
