Thank you George for the information. Gary has been through so much. I purchased some gear from him early this year and he was telling me about the troubles he was having with his heart. I hope he comes through this and his heart problems are fixed for good. I am sending Gary and his wife a monetary contribution. It is just not right that his wife is having to worry about paying the rent and buying food while she worries about her husband fighting for his life after a very complicated heart surgery. I hope others on this forum would also consider a contribution. I understand it is best to send it directly to his wife at their address in Texas, which according to the embedded link is: Elise Dodd 7025 Mazy Lane Rowlett, Tx. 75089.

Bump. Please consider a donation to Gary and his wife. See the embedded thread for further details. It sounds like Gary may have finally gotten through the worst. But he will be unable to work for some time I'm sure. He's an extremely talented American craftsman and needs a helping hand at this time.

I just spoke to Gary Dodd. His health is slowly improving but he is in very, very tough shape financially. I just sent him a contribution via paypal: gldodd@Verizon.net. Please consider making a contribution to Gary, whatever amount you can spare will be very appreciated. I realize these are tough times for many, but Gary was hospitalized for a very long time with a heart problem that just about killed him. He's finally improving health-wise, but he's just been whacked financially as a result. I'm trying to sell some gear to donate more proceeds, with more stuff to come up on the forum soon. Gary really needs a helping hand right now. Thanks for anything you can do.

I just sent a donation and hope others will follow. I'll be putting up my Sony BDP up for sale and will donate portions of that sale to him, also.

I inquired about having some custom work done not too along ago and never received a response. I'll try again...and throw a little extra in for payment to help him out.

My understanding from other local DFW guys is his email is bouncing back.
Maybe Russman knows how to contact him.

He lost his internet and so no email right now. Gary's phone number (214) 682-9097, I believe it is. He's hurting real bad financially after all this. Thanks, fellas, for anything you can do. He has a paypal card so he can physically access paypal even though he has no internet at this point. Any contribution helps.
