Well, the hurt is going to go deep. Up for sale is my custom one off computer/media server build. It is a full computer (spec's below) running Windows 7 64 bit. It has a AMD APU chip that is capable of 3D playback and lossless audio. The case has some slight wear, but nothing you would notice from afar.
My total cost in it is 700 not inclusive of the operating system, or even adding the cost of the music library, or labor costs on building and keeping it updateing. I will leave the system as is, but will be wiping all personal and sensitive information from it. I will include my existing FLAC library.
I am asking 575 + shipping via PayPal Gift. Otherwise add 3%. If I know you I may be willing to take a check or money order. Shipping costs should be minimal as I still have the original box and this unit is fairly small but will be packaged well. I will ship insured for full value and with signature required.
**Note** I do have all the boxes for the individual parts and am willing to ship those to you, however they will take up a bit of space and add to the shipping costs.
So youre getting an entire FLAC library (upwards of 600 gigs of FLAC with some 24/96 & 24/192 high resolution files downloaded from hd tracks) + a full on Windows 7 computer (with HDMI output for lossless Blu-ray) and that has 3D capabilities with the right Blu-ray drive (note there is not a cd/DVD drive with this unit). You also get a touch screen 7" usb monitor with a stylus to use as a secondary monitor with the unit. The unit boots into windows in about 14 seconds flat and draws under 70 watts at idle and is dead silent .
This baby is gonna hurt to let go, but I can always build another one later one. If you have any questions please contact me via PM. I will be glad to answer them.
The parts list is below, all parts are hyper-linked so you can see the exact specs of the units.
Here are some pics of the unit until I take some more tonight. I have removed the IR sensor from this unit to use with my main computer. The pictures also DONT show the OCZ drive that I have, and I have also moved the D-Link wireless card to be external since it was not getting a strong enough signal at work.
So here are some pictures of the system as its built now:
Top view with the HDD cage removed
*Note the cable management. I may replace the red zip ties with black ones at a later date as it drives me batty to have red ties sticking out like that*
Side view:
Close-up of overall cable management:
Notched Hard drive cage covered in foam. The remaining part hanging at the bottom will allow for another 2.5 HDD to be mounted at a later date if more storage is needed.
Hard drive bracket installed:
Top cover with foam and fan filter installed:

Eh like all things in life, they come and they go. As much as I love my gear, there are more important things in life. I just consider this one additional perspective adjustment.
**edit** I should mention I do have the IO shield, it just wasnt installed when that picture was taken."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." William Bruce Cameron, Informal Sociology: A Casual Introduction to Sociological Thinking (1963) -
i feel you there, but i know when im feeling out of it, being able to watch movies and anime in with a clear picture and quality sound(and loud) is a great escape. same goes for listening to music, while yes, there are more important things out there, my gear, however lacking some may consider it, is all quite important to me for the time being. maybe when i age and get place and a family, not so much, but for now, my gear is what i come home to everynight, so my perspective of it varies a bit.2 Channel(work in progress):DAC: Schiit modi 2 uberAmp:Parasound 1200 MK IISub:RBH 1010-SEP Speakers: Monitor 5A peerlesscurrently running some krk rokit 3g since the HK pre outs died and i need to start breaking everything down to move in a couple monthsHeadphones:Source: tidalDAC: schiit modius epre: schiit sysAmp: AQ dragonfly black/ schiit magni2 Cans: Velodyne V-True, Grado SR225i, sennheiser x drop gaming headsetPC:DAC: schiit modius e(over spdif)pre: schiit sysspeakers: prenous eris 5 xtSub: Earthquake Sound MiniMe-P63most of my comments are passing on of info, im a noob, im just trying to help how i can, if im wrong or out of place to comment, dont hesitate to let me know "WITH WILLING HEARTS AND SKILLFUL HANDS, THE DIFFICULT WE DO AT ONCE, THE IMPOSSIBLE TAKES A BIT LONGER, WITH COMPASSION FOR OTHERS. It can take a slot loaded drive, but it would require you to do some moving around of the SSD to be able to use it. The recommended drive is Panasonic PAN-UJ-265"....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." Depends on what you mean by "Games". Would I throw it at a game with max settings on a HUGE resolution. However it could be augmented with a dedicated GPU if needed, but you would really have to watch which one you get given its max powerdraw on the PSU is 150 watts and I would keep it under 125 personally.
If you look at the AMD reviews for this CPU I am sure there are gaming benchmarks on sites like Anandtech, HardOPC, etc. Probably better to look at those as I dont know what all games you like to play.
So it "might" work for you, but if you do serious gaming often more than likely it simply may not be right for you, as much as I would love to sell it to you."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted." I managed to squeeze 40-60 FPS out of this wee little APU, at least while walking around in inside areas. Outside is more like 26-40.
Lowest Settings
800x600
But I would check around yourself to double check me, but it looks like it "might" run it at lower resolution which IMHO may not make it an ideal buy for you, but let me know."....not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted."
