Wife calls today and says she's taking the kids out to dinner with her friend. Says she'll be home around 8.

My first thought isn't, "sweet I have a couple hours, I should grab a drink with buds after work." Or..."alright, I have some time to finish up painting in the closet without the kids around."

Rather,

"Awesome, I can go home after work, grab a cocktail and go directly into the smallest darkest room in my house and listen to the King Crimson cd I just picked up on the SDA's!!"

And that is exactly what I am going to do, and it will be awesome!

    It went on a little sketchy, but when it dried, I absolutely love it.

    Who's paint did you use... I swear by Ben Moore.... and Jack Daniels... although mixing the 2 is not recommended.

    I used Behr premium ultra, but they were able to match the color from the Benjamin Moore info you gave me.

    And here in Wisconsin we drink a lot of brandy, so tonight it will probably be some E&J VSOP.

    Come to think of it... it looked a little pinkish when I put it on, but it dried a lot deeper...I let my gf pick out all the paint that we she gets all the credit/blame

    Yea, that "pink" scared me when I put it on. I know paint dries a different color, but it was significant.

    I will have a similar 'predicament' this Saturday night. Wife and daughter leaving Saturday morning and will not be back until Sunday afternoon! Although...no SDA's....my Infinity RSIIIa's will stand in nicely though.

    Sadly underwhelmed by the SQ on the KC Court Of... cd.

    Don't want to be hyperbolic, but I actually checked all my connections to make sure everything was ok.

    I then threw a couple reference cd's and figured out it was just the KC that sucked.

    Oh well, Pearl Jam at Benaroya sounds ABSOLUTELY fantastic. Please listen to this album if you haven't already.

    Hey Paul sounds normal to me, I just got back this afternoon from a 12 day deer hunting trip. I got home kissed the wife told her how much I missed her petted the dogs, and proceeded down to the 2 channel threw on Aja and cranked it. I know believe me the wife comes first but she was picking up the Grandkids from school and then taking them to the Ymca to play b-ball and go swimming so I was cranking the tunes, and tossing back a few myself. I will have to unload the truck tomorrow and go to work with a 12 day beard the rig and tunes also were missed!
