I have purchased items from Jimmie and have been very happy. Great communications, items were exactly as described, packaged well and was shipped very quickly. No problems with this seller! Too bad I don't need a receiver.

I have purchased from Jimmie before as well. I would make only one change to the above comment. The unit I received was VERY well packaged.

Thanks for the kind words guys.I am humbled.
I sold a pioneer elite to a guy in Colorado. I had ups package it because I did not have the original box. You guessed it, they dropped it on the edge and bent the case and cracked the front face. I only insured it for 300.00. UPS sent it back to the local ups here and they called me to come over and apply for the insurance. After I looked at it I decided to bring it home and do some repairs on it. I have got it where it is hard to tell it was damaged but I cannot sell it this way so I decided to keep this one and sell the Marantz I have. Thats why I have the 7300 up for sell. I like the Marantz better but this pioneer elite works just fine so I will use it .
Again, Thanks for your very kind words.

*sigh* I missed out on that deal the first time. :(

Is there something functionally wrong with the elite now or do you just feel uncomfortable selling it after it had been damaged?

Good luck with selling the Marantz.

    regards

    Dave

I would just like to say, Jimmie and I have made transactions before on more than one item, and I could not recommend a more honest and nice person to make a deal with, than Jimmie. He is very fair on pricing and every item has been in excellant condition. To anyone who may be considering this receiver or any items Jimmie may offer in the future... know that you are dealing with a very respectable individual. Good luck on the sale Jimmie, and I'm sorry to hear about the UPS ordeal with the Pioneer Elite.

    Regards,
    Terry

    Hi Terry,
Yes that was a let down. The elite works just fine though. The inners were not affected. I had it insured for 300.00 but after I looked at it I could not bring myself to let ups have it for that.
Hope you and the wife are doing good.

Yes, that's right Dave, I did not feel I could put it up for sale again even though it is fine other than a chip missing on the lower front of the face. It has worked out for me because I have tented doors on my component rack so it cannot be seen through the tent.
