hello everyone

As you know sevreral states were hit hard with tornadoes yesterday.
Washington Il was one of the hardest hit areas and is home to a great Club Polk member, Mcloki

I sure hope I am reading the map and the aerial photos wrong but I believe his home took a direct hit.
Please join me in wishing Michael , his family and his many pets the best.
I think it would be in poor taste to post photos of what i believe to be his home and i sure hope i am wrong

at a loss for words

    Ok update
Thanks to new photos from the UK Daily Mail I think michaels house may have been spared
If you follow the road in middle of photo with the lone car ( not the road that curves around lower in the pic) to the left of the screen Michaels house is the 2nd "intact" house on the right

    Good news I think

I will not complain about being without power for 1 day after this storm. That looks awful and makes me feel sick. I hope McLoki and everyone else there made it OK.

Statistically November is a bad month for tornadoes. One of the worst tornadoes in Alabama where I live was a Cat. 5 on November 15th 1989.

    Hope McLoki is well.

He likely won't have access to his house for awhile, even if relatively undamaged, due to clean up.

Happened 4 miles from my house. They started letting homeowners come in yesterday to find what belongings they could. Just a terribly sad situation.

Family and I all are fine. Thank you for all the well wishes.

We were right on the edge of the storm. (2 houses away from my are a pile of rubble - houses next door are standing but will have to be rebuilt. My house is repairable but not in the best shape...) We were in the basement when it hit (2min after we entered the basement, power went out - 30 seconds later it hit)

Still have no power, water, gas, etc. Staying with In-laws on the other side of town right now.

Here are some pics of my house from the day it happened.
